I revel in delving into historical research, unearthing the untold stories of remarkable individuals and shedding light on the lesser-known atrocities of the past. English, on the other hand, holds an enduring place in my heart. The subject introduces me to a smorgasbord of media forms, expanding my vocabulary and linguistic horizons. My love for verbosity knows no bounds, as I thoroughly relish being sesquipedalian in my loquaciousness. Fashion, the third pillar of my academic passion, is an embodiment of my keen sense of style. My wardrobe adheres to a strict color palette, with the exception of the occasional rainbow ensemble, and my aesthetic oscillates between Scenekid, Corporate Goth, and Dark Academia. The intricacies of fashion, from savvy shopping to the art of crafting clothing, captivate my interest. I'm an ardent fashion enthusiast, amassing a Pinterest board entitled 'Aesthetic' divided into 'Clothes' and 'Hair & Accessories,' a virtual treasure trove of outfits I admire. Moreover, I derive immense satisfaction from DIY projects, crafting necklaces, chains, bracelets, and more.
Pets
Let me introduce you to my beloved furry friend, Sam. Sam is a unique blend of Black Lab and Border Collie, a special gift from my mother during a challenging time in my life, following the loss of our previous dog. We found Sam on a farm, and he was practically a steal since he was the runt of the litter, noticeably smaller than his siblings. In the beginning, Sam was a bundle of nerves, often grappling with anxiety, and he was not too keen on being touched. However, as the days turned into weeks and years, my mother and I worked patiently with Sam, teaching him a repertoire of tricks that he now executes with charm – from rolling over to playing dead and exchanging high fives. Over the years, Sam and I have grown up together, and he has become my absolute pride and joy. Now at eleven years old, he still exudes that youthful spirit. He relishes our nightly long walks and, of course, the delightful treats. Sam truly holds a special place in my heart, a faithful companion who has been there with me through thick and thin, an avid cuddly dog.
Personality
Some have characterized me as possessing humor, creativity, and a touch of pessimism, but I would personally define myself as imaginative, adventurous, a tad indecisive, with an existentialist streak, an eclectic nature, an expressive disposition, a strong commitment to values, an ambiverted social style, and a penchant for spontaneity. I firmly believe that people are inherently neutral; the dichotomy of good and evil is a fruitless struggle. What truly matters is our collective effort to infuse our society with greater emotional intelligence.
Hobbies
I have a range of hobbies that I dabble in, although procrastination tends to creep in from time to time. Recently, I started sewing for a fashion class, and even though I'm far from a pro, there's something magical about being able to mend and create clothes. My fondness for crafting led me to try my hand at embroidery during an art club, so naturally, I found sewing to be a delightful extension of that creative endeavor. Speaking of crafting, I've whipped up a fair number of basic beaded bracelets, with a growing desire to tackle more intricate patterns like scene-kid cuffs. Music is a huge part of my life; you'll often find me immersed in a symphony of tunes, podcasts, and audiobooks. I'm a novice guitarist who desires to learn and instrument and sing along with it. I have been singing since I was just five years old. My theatrical flair has never waned, and I love being dramatic, whether it's for a good laugh or genuine self-expression. While I haven't penned a song in a while, I cherish the process of freestyling over copyright-free beats. Additionally, I have a knack for coding, which I ventured into about a year ago when I stumbled upon the social platform Spacehey. The platform's blog tutorials helped me take my first steps into the world of coding. Reading and writing are also passions of mine, as evidenced by the upcoming blogs I plan to add to this website. In fact, I've maintained sporadic diaries and journals since second grade, embellishing them with small entries and less-than-stellar drawings. In essence, I've explored a plethora of artistic pursuits, finding joy in most of them.
